Nethermind v1.9.39 Release Notes

  • 🔀 [ETH2-SUPPORT] Fixes an issue where receipts and logs may have been missed for some post-pivot blocks during the fast sync which could have led to Eth2 clients not receiving all deposit details and rejecting Eth1 data from Nethermind.

    ⚙ Running Nethermind:

    Nethermind Launcher is a self-contained app - you do not need to install .NET separately to run it.

    🐧 Linux

    ⚡️ 1. sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install libsnappy-dev libc6-dev libc6 unzip 🚀 2. wget https://github.com/NethermindEth/nethermind/releases/download/1.9.39/nethermind-linux-amd64-1.9.39-d1dc30e-20201127.zip 🐧 3. unzip nethermind-linux-amd64-1.9.39-d1dc30e-20201127.zip -d nethermind

    1. cd nethermind
    2. ./Nethermind.Launcher 🔧 6. Select desired configuration

    ➕ Additionally for Ubuntu 16.04

    ✅ 1. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-toolchain-r/test ⚡️ 2. sudo apt-get update

    1. sudo apt-get install gcc-6 g++-6
    2. sudo apt install libzstd1

    🏁 Windows

    🏁 1. download windows package nethermind-windows-amd64-1.9.39-d1dc30e-20201127.zip

    1. unzip the file
    2. run Nethermind.Launcher.exe 🔧 4. select desired configuration

    🍎 macOS

    1. brew install rocksdb 📦 2. download darwin package nethermind-darwin-amd64-1.9.39-d1dc30e-20201127.zip
    2. unzip the file
    3. run Nethermind.Launcher 🔧 5. select desired configuration
